ﱁThen whenﱂboth of them had submittedﱃand he put him downﱄupon his foreheadﱅ
Then when they submitted ˹to Allah’s Will˺, and Abraham laid him on the side of his forehead ˹for sacrifice˺,

ﱆAnd We called out to himﱇthatﱈO Ibrahimﱉ
We called out to him, “O Abraham!
- Reflections
ﱊVerilyﱋyou have fulfilledﱌﱍthe visionﱎIndeed, Weﱏthusﱐ[We] rewardﱑthe good-doersﱒ
You have already fulfilled the vision.” Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers.

ﱓIndeedﱔthisﱕ(was) surely [it]ﱖthe trialﱗclearﱘ
That was truly a revealing test.
- Reflections
ﱙAnd We ransomed himﱚwith a sacrificeﱛgreatﱜ
And We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice,
- Reflections
ﱝAnd We leftﱞfor himﱟamongﱠthe later generationsﱡ
and blessed Abraham ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations:
- Reflections
ﱢPeace beﱣonﱤIbrahimﱥ
“Peace be upon Abraham.”
- Reflections
ﱦThusﱧWe rewardﱨthe good-doersﱩ
This is how We reward the good-doers.
- Reflections
ﱪIndeed, he (was)ﱫofﱬOur slavesﱭbelievingﱮ
He was truly one of Our faithful servants.

ﱯAnd We gave him glad tidingsﱰof Isaacﱱa Prophetﱲamongﱳthe righteousﱴ
We ˹later˺ gave him good news of Isaac—a prophet, and one of the righteous.

ﱵAnd We blessedﱶhimﱷand [on]ﱸﱹIsaacﱺAnd ofﱻtheir offspringﱼ(are) good-doersﱽand unjustﱾto himselfﱿclearﲀ
We blessed him and Isaac as well. Some of their descendants did good, while others clearly wronged themselves.

ﲁAnd verilyﲂWe conferred FavorﲃuponﲄMusaﲅand Harunﲆ
And We certainly showed favour to Moses and Aaron,
- Reflections
ﲇAnd We saved both of themﲈand their peopleﲉfromﲊthe distressﲋthe greatﲌ
and delivered them and their people from the great distress.
- Reflections
ﲍAnd We helped themﲎso they becameﲏso they becameﲐthe victorsﲑ
We helped them so it was they who prevailed.

ﲒAnd We gave both of themﲓthe Bookﲔthe clearﲕ
We gave them the clear Scripture,
- Reflections
ﲖAnd We guided both of themﲗ(to) the Pathﲘthe Straightﲙ
and guided them to the Straight Path.

ﲚAnd We leftﲛfor both of themﲜamongﲝthe later generationsﲞ
And We blessed them ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations:

ﲟPeace beﲠuponﲡMusaﲢand Harunﲣ
“Peace be upon Moses and Aaron.”

ﲤIndeed, Weﲥthusﲦrewardﲧthe good-doersﲨ
Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers.

ﲩIndeed, both of themﲪ(were) ofﲫOur slavesﲬbelievingﲭ
They were truly ˹two˺ of Our faithful servants.

ﲮAnd indeedﲯElijahﲰ(was) surely ofﲱthe Messengersﲲ
And Elias was indeed one of the messengers.

ﲳWhenﲴhe saidﲵto his peopleﲶWill notﲷyou fearﲸ
˹Remember˺ when he said to his people, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?
- Reflections
ﲹDo you callﲺBaalﲻand you forsakeﲼ(the) Bestﲽ(of) Creators ﲾ
Do you call upon ˹the idol of˺ Ba’l and abandon the Best of Creators—
- Reflections
ﲿAllahﳀyour Lordﳁand (the) Lordﳂ(of) your forefathersﳃ(of) your forefathersﳄ
Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?”
