ﱁAnd We madeﱂhis offspringﱃ[they]ﱄthe survivorsﱅ
and made his descendants the sole survivors.

ﱆAnd We leftﱇfor himﱈamongﱉthe later generationsﱊ
And We blessed him ˹with honourable mention˺ among later generations:

ﱋPeace beﱌuponﱍNuhﱎamongﱏthe worldsﱐ
“Peace be upon Noah among all peoples.”
- Reflections
ﱑIndeed, Weﱒthusﱓ[We] rewardﱔthe good-doersﱕ
Indeed, this is how We reward the good-doers.
- Reflections
ﱖIndeed, heﱗ(was) ofﱘOur slavesﱙbelievingﱚ
˹For˺ he was truly one of Our faithful servants.

ﱛThenﱜWe drownedﱝthe othersﱞ
Then We drowned the others.
- Reflections
ﱟ ﱠAnd indeedﱡamongﱢhis kindﱣ(was) surely Ibrahimﱤ
And indeed, one of those who followed his way was Abraham.

ﱥWhenﱦhe cameﱧ(to) his Lordﱨwith a heartﱩsoundﱪ
˹Remember˺ when he came to his Lord with a pure heart,

ﱫWhenﱬhe saidﱭto his fatherﱮand his peopleﱯWhat is itﱰyou worshipﱱ
and said to his father and his people, “What are you worshipping?

ﱲIs it falsehood ﱳgodsﱴother thanﱵAllah ﱶ(that) you desireﱷ
Is it false gods that you desire instead of Allah?
- Reflections
ﱸThen whatﱹ(do) you thinkﱺabout (the) Lordﱻ(of) the worldsﱼ
What then do you expect from the Lord of all worlds?”
- Reflections
ﱽThen he glancedﱾa glanceﱿatﲀthe starsﲁ
He later looked up to the stars ˹in contemplation˺,
- Reflections
ﲂAnd he saidﲃIndeed, I amﲄsickﲅ
then said, “I am really sick.”
- Reflections
ﲆSo they turned awayﲇfrom himﲈdepartingﲉ
So they turned their backs on him and went away.
- Reflections
ﲊThen he turnedﲋtoﲌtheir godsﲍand saidﲎDo notﲏyou eatﲐ
Then he ˹stealthily˺ advanced towards their gods, and said ˹mockingly˺, “Will you not eat ˹your offerings˺?

ﲑWhat (is)ﲒfor youﲓnotﲔyou speakﲕ
What is wrong with you that you cannot speak?”

ﲖThen he turnedﲗupon themﲘstrikingﲙwith the right handﲚ
Then he swiftly turned on them, striking ˹them˺ with his right hand.

ﲛThen they advancedﲜtowards himﲝhasteningﲞ
Later, his people came rushing towards him ˹furiously˺.

ﲟHe saidﲠDo you worshipﲡwhatﲢyou carveﲣ
He argued, “How can you worship what you carve ˹with your own hands˺,
- Reflections
ﲤWhile Allahﲥcreated youﲦand whatﲧyou makeﲨ
when it is Allah Who created you and whatever you do?”

ﲩThey saidﲪBuildﲫfor himﲬa structureﲭand throw himﲮintoﲯthe blazing Fireﲰ
They said ˹to one another˺, “Build him a furnace and cast him into the blazing fire.”
- Reflections
ﲱAnd they intendedﲲfor himﲳa plotﲴbut We made themﲵthe lowestﲶ
And so they sought to harm him, but We made them inferior.
- Reflections
ﲷAnd he saidﲸIndeed, I amﲹgoingﲺtoﲻmy LordﲼHe will guide meﲽ
He later said, “I am leaving ˹in obedience˺ to my Lord. He will guide me.
- Reflections
ﲾMy Lordﲿgrantﳀmeﳁofﳂthe righteousﳃ
My Lord! Bless me with righteous offspring.”

ﳄSo We gave him the glad tidingsﳅof a boyﳆforbearingﳇ
So We gave him good news of a forbearing son.

ﳈThen whenﳉhe reachedﳊthe (age of) working with himﳋthe (age of) working with himﳌhe saidﳍO my sonﳎIndeed, Iﳏhave seenﳐinﳑthe dreamﳒthat I amﳓsacrificing youﳔso lookﳕwhatﳖﳗyou seeﳘHe saidﳙO my fatherﳚDoﳛwhatﳜﳝyou are commandedﳞYou will find meﳟifﳠAllah willsﳡAllah willsﳢofﳣthe patient onesﳤ
Then when the boy reached the age to work with him, Abraham said, “O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I ˹must˺ sacrifice you. So tell me what you think.” He replied, “O my dear father! Do as you are commanded. Allah willing, you will find me steadfast.”
