ﱁDeniedﱂ(the) peopleﱃ(of) Lutﱄthe Messengersﱅ
The people of Lot rejected the messengers

ﱆWhenﱇsaidﱈto themﱉtheir brotherﱊLutﱋWill notﱌyou fear (Allah)ﱍ
when their brother Lot said to them, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?
- Reflections
ﱎIndeed, I amﱏto youﱐa Messengerﱑtrustworthyﱒ
I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you.

ﱓSo fearﱔAllahﱕand obey meﱖ
So fear Allah, and obey me.
- Reflections
ﱗAnd notﱘI ask youﱙfor itﱚanyﱛﱜpaymentﱝNotﱞ(is) my paymentﱟexceptﱠfromﱡ(the) Lordﱢ(of) the worldsﱣ
I do not ask you for any reward for this ˹message˺. My reward is only from the Lord of all worlds.

ﱤDo you approachﱥthe malesﱦamongﱧthe worldsﱨ
Why do you ˹men˺ lust after fellow men,
- Reflections
ﱩAnd you leaveﱪwhatﱫcreatedﱬfor youﱭyour Lordﱮofﱯﱰyour matesﱱNayﱲyouﱳ(are) a peopleﱴtransgressingﱵ
leaving the wives that your Lord has created for you? In fact, you are a transgressing people.”

ﱶThey saidﱷIfﱸnotﱹyou desistﱺO LutﱻSurely, you will beﱼofﱽthe ones driven outﱾ
They threatened, “If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be expelled.”

ﱿHe saidﲀIndeed, I amﲁ(of) your deedﲂofﲃthose who detestﲄ
Lot responded, “I am truly one of those who despise your ˹shameful˺ practice.

ﲅMy LordﲆSave meﲇand my familyﲈfrom whatﲉthey doﲊ
My Lord! Save me and my family from ˹the consequences of˺ what they do.”

ﲋSo We saved himﲌand his familyﲍallﲎ
So We saved him and all of his family,
- Reflections
ﲏExceptﲐan old womanﲑ(was) amongﲒthose who remained behindﲓ
except an old woman, who was one of the doomed.
- Reflections
ﲔThenﲕWe destroyedﲖthe othersﲗ
Then We utterly destroyed the rest,
- Reflections
ﲘAnd We rainedﲙupon themﲚﲛa rainﲜand evil wasﲝ(was) the rainﲞ(on) those who were warnedﲟ
pouring upon them a rain ˹of brimstone˺. How evil was the rain of those who had been warned!

ﲠIndeedﲡinﲢthatﲣﲤsurely is a signﲥbut notﲦareﲧmost of themﲨbelieversﲩ
Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.

ﲪAnd indeedﲫyour Lordﲬsurely, Heﲭ(is) the All-Mightyﲮthe Most Mercifulﲯ
And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

ﲰDeniedﲱ(the) companionsﲲ(of the) Woodﲳthe Messengersﲴ
The residents of the Forest rejected the messengers

ﲵWhenﲶsaidﲷto themﲸShuaibﲹWill notﲺyou fear (Allah)ﲻ
when Shu’aib said to them, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?
- Reflections
ﲼIndeed, I amﲽto youﲾa Messengerﲿtrustworthyﳀ
I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you.

ﳁSo fearﳂAllahﳃand obey meﳄ
So fear Allah, and obey me.
- Reflections
ﳅAnd notﳆI ask (of) youﳇfor itﳈanyﳉﳊpaymentﳋNotﳌ(is) my paymentﳍexceptﳎfromﳏ(the) Lordﳐ(of) the worldsﳑ
I do not ask you for any reward for this ˹message˺. My reward is only from the Lord of all worlds.

ﳒ ﳓGive fullﳔmeasureﳕand (do) notﳖbeﳗofﳘthose who cause lossﳙ
Give full measure, and cause no loss ˹to others˺.

ﳚAnd weighﳛwith a balanceﳜ[the] evenﳝ
Weigh with an even balance,
- Reflections
ﳞAnd (do) notﳟdepriveﳠpeopleﳡ(of) their thingsﳢand (do) notﳣcommit evilﳤinﳥthe earthﳦspreading corruptionﳧ
and do not defraud people of their property. Nor go about spreading corruption in the land.
