ﱁWhatﱂ(is) for youﱃ(Why) notﱄyou help one anotherﱅ
˹Then they will be asked,˺ “What is the matter with you that you can no longer help each other?”

ﱆNayﱇtheyﱈ(on) that Dayﱉ(will) surrenderﱊ
In fact, on that Day they will be ˹fully˺ submissive.

ﱋAnd will approachﱌsome of themﱍtoﱎothersﱏquestioning one anotherﱐ
They will turn on each other, throwing blame.

ﱑThey will sayﱒIndeed, youﱓ[you] used (to)ﱔcome (to) usﱕfromﱖthe rightﱗ
The misled will say, “It was you who deluded us away from what is right.”

ﱘThey will sayﱙNayﱚnotﱛyou wereﱜbelieversﱝ
The misleaders will reply, “No! You disbelieved on your own.
- Reflections
ﱞAnd notﱟwasﱠfor usﱡover youﱢanyﱣﱤauthorityﱥNayﱦyou wereﱧa peopleﱨtransgressingﱩ
We had no authority over you. In fact, you yourselves were a transgressing people.

ﱪSo has been proved trueﱫagainst usﱬ(the) Wordﱭﱮ(of) our Lordﱯindeed, weﱰ(will) certainly tasteﱱ
The decree of our Lord has come to pass against us ˹all˺: we will certainly taste ˹the punishment˺.

ﱲSo we led you astrayﱳindeed, weﱴwereﱵastrayﱶ
We caused you to deviate, for we ourselves were deviant.”

ﱷThen indeed, theyﱸthat Dayﱹinﱺthe punishmentﱻ(will be) sharersﱼ
Surely on that Day they will ˹all˺ share in the punishment.

ﱽIndeed, WeﱾthusﱿWe dealﲀwith the criminalsﲁ
That is certainly how We deal with the wicked.

ﲂIndeed, theyﲃwereﲄwhenﲅit was saidﲆto themﲇ(There is) noﲈgodﲉexceptﲊAllahﲋwere arrogantﲌ
For whenever it was said to them ˹in the world˺, “There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Allah,” they acted arrogantly

ﲍAnd they sayﲎAre weﲏto leaveﲐour godsﲑfor a poetﲒmadﲓ
and argued, “Should we really abandon our gods for a mad poet?”

ﲔNayﲕhe has broughtﲖthe truthﲗand confirmedﲘthe Messengersﲙ
In fact, he came with the truth, confirming ˹earlier˺ messengers.

ﲚIndeed, youﲛ(will) surely tasteﲜthe punishmentﲝpainfulﲞ
You will certainly taste the painful torment,
- Reflections
ﲟAnd notﲠyou will be recompensedﲡexceptﲢwhatﲣyou used toﲤdoﲥ
and will only be rewarded for what you used to do.

ﲦExceptﲧ(the) slavesﲨ(of) Allahﲩthe chosen onesﲪ
But not the chosen servants of Allah.
- Reflections
ﲫThoseﲬfor themﲭ(will be) a provisionﲮdeterminedﲯ
They will have a known provision:
- Reflections
ﲰFruitsﲱand theyﲲ(will) be honoredﲳ
fruits ˹of every type˺. And they will be honoured
- Reflections
ﲴInﲵGardensﲶ(of) Delightﲷ
in the Gardens of Bliss,
- Reflections
ﲸOnﲹthronesﲺfacing each otherﲻ
facing each other on thrones.
- Reflections
ﲼWill be circulatedﲽamong themﲾa cupﲿfromﳀa flowing springﳁ
A drink ˹of pure wine˺ will be passed around to them from a flowing stream:
- Reflections
ﳂWhiteﳃdeliciousﳄfor the drinkersﳅ
crystal-white, delicious to drink.
- Reflections
ﳆNotﳇin itﳈ(is) bad effectﳉand notﳊtheyﳋfrom itﳌwill be intoxicatedﳍ
It will neither harm ˹them˺, nor will they be intoxicated by it.
- Reflections
ﳎAnd with themﳏ(will be) companions of modest gazeﳐ(will be) companions of modest gazeﳑ(having) beautiful eyesﳒ
And with them will be maidens of modest gaze and gorgeous eyes,

ﳓAs if they wereﳔeggsﳕwell protectedﳖ
as if they were pristine pearls.
- Reflections
ﳗAnd (will) approachﳘsome of themﳙtoﳚothersﳛquestioning one anotherﳜ
Then they will turn to one another inquisitively.

ﳝWill sayﳞa speakerﳟamong themﳠIndeed, Iﳡhadﳢfor meﳣa companionﳤ
One of them will say, “I once had a companion ˹in the world˺
