ﱁNotﱂ(will) availﱃthemﱄwhatﱅenjoyment they were givenﱆenjoyment they were givenﱇ
would that enjoyment be of any benefit to them ˹at all˺?

ﱈAnd notﱉWe destroyedﱊanyﱋtownﱌbutﱍit hadﱎwarnersﱏ
We have never destroyed a society without warners
- Reflections
ﱐ(To) remindﱑand notﱒWe areﱓunjustﱔ
to remind ˹them˺, for We would never wrong ˹anyone˺.

ﱕAnd notﱖhave brought it downﱗhave brought it downﱘthe devilsﱙ
It was not the devils who brought this ˹Quran˺ down:
- Reflections
ﱚAnd notﱛ(it) suitsﱜ[for] themﱝand notﱞthey are ableﱟ
it is not for them ˹to do so˺, nor can they,
- Reflections
ﱠIndeed, theyﱡfromﱢthe hearingﱣ(are) surely banishedﱤ
for they are strictly barred from ˹even˺ overhearing ˹it˺.

ﱥSo (do) notﱦinvokeﱧwithﱨAllahﱩgodﱪanotherﱫlest you beﱬofﱭthose punishedﱮ
So do not ever call upon any other god besides Allah, or you will be one of the punished.

ﱯAnd warnﱰyour kindredﱱ[the] closestﱲ
And warn ˹all, starting with˺ your closest relatives,

ﱳAnd lowerﱴyour wingﱵto (those) whoﱶfollow youﱷofﱸthe believersﱹ
and be gracious to the believers who follow you.

ﱺThen ifﱻthey disobey youﱼthen sayﱽIndeed, I amﱾinnocentﱿof whatﲀyou doﲁ
But if they disobey you, say, “I am certainly free of what you do.”

ﲂAnd put (your) trustﲃinﲄthe All-Mightyﲅthe Most Mercifulﲆ
Put your trust in the Almighty, Most Merciful,
- Reflections
ﲇThe One Whoﲈsees youﲉwhenﲊyou stand upﲋ
Who sees you when you rise ˹for prayer at night˺,
- Reflections
ﲌAnd your movementsﲍamongﲎthose who prostrateﲏ
as well as your movements ˹in prayer˺ along with ˹fellow˺ worshippers.

ﲐIndeed, Heﲑ[He]ﲒ(is) the All-Hearerﲓthe All-Knowerﲔ
He ˹alone˺ is indeed the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

ﲕShallﲖI inform youﲗuponﲘwhomﲙdescendﲚthe devilsﲛ
Shall I inform you of whom the devils ˹actually˺ descend upon?

ﲜThey descendﲝuponﲞeveryﲟliarﲠsinfulﲡ
They descend upon every sinful liar,
- Reflections
ﲢThey pass onﲣ(what is) heardﲤand most of themﲥ(are) liarsﲦ
who gives an ˹attentive˺ ear ˹to half-truths˺, mostly passing on sheer lies.
- Reflections
ﲧAnd the poets ﲨfollow themﲩthe deviatorsﲪ
As for poets, they are followed ˹merely˺ by deviants.

ﲫDo notﲬyou seeﲭthat theyﲮinﲯeveryﲰvalleyﲱ[they] roamﲲ
Do you not see how they rant in every field,
- Reflections
ﲳAnd that theyﲴsayﲵwhatﲶnotﲷthey doﲸ
only saying what they never do?
- Reflections
ﲹExceptﲺthose whoﲻbelieveﲼand doﲽrighteous deedsﲾand rememberﲿAllahﳀmuchﳁand defend themselvesﳂafterﳃafterﳄafterﳅﳆthey were wrongedﳇAnd will come to knowﳈthose whoﳉhave wrongedﳊ(to) whatﳋreturnﳌthey will returnﳍ
Except those who believe, do good, remember Allah often, and ˹poetically˺ avenge ˹the believers˺ after being wrongfully slandered. The wrongdoers will come to know what ˹evil˺ end they will meet.
