ﱁHe saidﱂAnd whatﱃ(do) I knowﱄof whatﱅthey usedﱆ(to) doﱇ
He responded, “And what knowledge do I have of what they do?

ﱈVerilyﱉtheir accountﱊ(is) butﱋuponﱌﱍmy Lordﱎifﱏyou perceiveﱐ
Their judgment is with my Lord, if you had any sense!

ﱑAnd notﱒI amﱓthe one to drive awayﱔthe believersﱕ
I am not going to expel the believers.
- Reflections
ﱖNotﱗI amﱘbutﱙa warnerﱚclearﱛ
I am only sent with a clear warning.”

ﱜThey saidﱝIfﱞnotﱟyou desistﱠO NuhﱡSurely you will beﱢofﱣthose who are stonedﱤ
They threatened, “If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be stoned ˹to death˺.”

ﱥHe saidﱦMy LordﱧIndeedﱨmy peopleﱩhave denied meﱪ
Noah prayed, “My Lord! My people have truly rejected me.

ﱫSo judgeﱬbetween meﱭand between themﱮ(with decisive) judgmentﱯand save meﱰand whoﱱ(are) with meﱲofﱳthe believersﱴ
So judge between me and them decisively, and save me and the believers with me.”

ﱵSo We saved himﱶand whoﱷ(were) with himﱸinﱹthe shipﱺladenﱻ
So We saved him and those with him in the fully loaded Ark.
- Reflections
ﱼThenﱽWe drownedﱾthereafterﱿthe remaining onesﲀ
Then afterwards We drowned the rest.

ﲁIndeedﲂinﲃthatﲄﲅsurely, (is) a signﲆbut notﲇareﲈmost of themﲉbelieversﲊ
Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.
- Reflections
ﲋAnd indeedﲌyour Lordﲍsurely, Heﲎ(is) the All-Mightyﲏthe Most Mercifulﲐ
And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

ﲑDeniedﲒ(the people) of Aadﲓthe Messengersﲔ
The people of ’Âd rejected the messengers
- Reflections
ﲕWhenﲖsaidﲗto themﲘtheir brotherﲙHudﲚWill notﲛyou fear (Allah)ﲜ
when their brother Hûd said to them, “Will you not fear ˹Allah˺?
- Reflections
ﲝIndeed, I amﲞto youﲟa Messengerﲠtrustworthyﲡ
I am truly a trustworthy messenger to you.

ﲢSo fearﲣAllahﲤand obey meﲥ
So fear Allah, and obey me.
- Reflections
ﲦAnd notﲧI ask youﲨfor itﲩanyﲪﲫpaymentﲬNotﲭ(is) my paymentﲮexceptﲯfromﲰ(the) Lordﲱ(of) the worldsﲲ
I do not ask you for any reward for this ˹message˺. My reward is only from the Lord of all worlds.

ﲳDo you constructﲴon everyﲵelevationﲶa signﲷamusing yourselvesﲸ
˹Why˺ do you build a landmark on every high place in vanity,
- Reflections
ﲹAnd take for yourselvesﲺstrongholdsﲻthat you mayﲼlive foreverﲽ
and construct castles, as if you are going to live forever,
- Reflections
ﲾAnd whenﲿyou seizeﳀyou seizeﳁ(as) tyrantsﳂ
and act so viciously when you attack ˹others˺?
- Reflections
ﳃSo fearﳄAllahﳅand obey meﳆ
So fear Allah, and obey me.
- Reflections
ﳇAnd fearﳈthe One Whoﳉhas aided youﳊwith whatﳋyou knowﳌ
Fear the One Who has provided you with ˹the good˺ things you know:
- Reflections
ﳍHe has aided youﳎwith cattleﳏand childrenﳐ
He provided you with cattle, and children,
- Reflections
ﳑAnd gardensﳒand springsﳓ
and gardens, and springs.
- Reflections
ﳔIndeed, Iﳕ[I] fearﳖfor youﳗ(the) punishmentﳘ(of) a DayﳙGreatﳚ
I truly fear for you the torment of a tremendous day.”

ﳛThey saidﳜ(It is) sameﳝto usﳞwhether you adviseﳟorﳠnotﳡyou areﳢofﳣthe advisorsﳤ
They responded, “It is all the same to us whether you warn ˹us˺ or not.
