ﱁThen whenﱂsaw each otherﱃthe two hostsﱄsaidﱅ(the) companionsﱆ(of) MusaﱇIndeed, weﱈ(are) surely to be overtakenﱉ
When the two groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out, “We are overtaken for sure.”

ﱊHe saidﱋﱌNayﱍindeedﱎwith meﱏ(is) my LordﱐHe will guide meﱑ
Moses reassured ˹them˺, “Absolutely not! My Lord is certainly with me—He will guide me.”

ﱒThen We inspiredﱓtoﱔMusaﱕ[that]ﱖStrikeﱗwith your staffﱘﱙthe seaﱚSo it partedﱛand becameﱜeachﱝpartﱞlike the mountainﱟ[the] greatﱠ
So We inspired Moses: “Strike the sea with your staff,” and the sea was split, each part was like a huge mountain.

ﱡAnd We brought nearﱢthereﱣthe othersﱤ
We drew the pursuers to that place,
- Reflections
ﱥAnd We savedﱦMusaﱧand whoﱨ(were) with himﱩallﱪ
and delivered Moses and those with him all together.

ﱫThenﱬWe drownedﱭthe othersﱮ
Then We drowned the others.

ﱯIndeedﱰinﱱthatﱲﱳsurely (is) a Signﱴbut notﱵareﱶmost of themﱷbelieversﱸ
Surely in this is a sign. Yet most of them would not believe.

ﱹAnd indeedﱺyour Lordﱻsurely Heﱼ(is) the All-Mightyﱽthe Most Mercifulﱾ
And your Lord is certainly the Almighty, Most Merciful.

ﱿAnd reciteﲀto themﲁ(the) newsﲂ(of) Ibrahimﲃ
Relate to them ˹O Prophet˺ the story of Abraham,

ﲄWhenﲅhe saidﲆto his fatherﲇand his peopleﲈWhatﲉ(do) you worshipﲊ
when he questioned his father and his people, “What is that you worship ˹besides Allah˺?”

ﲋThey saidﲌWe worshipﲍidolsﲎso we will remainﲏto themﲐdevotedﲑ
They replied, “We worship idols, to which we are fully devoted.”

ﲒHe saidﲓDoﲔthey hear youﲕwhenﲖyou callﲗ
Abraham asked, “Can they hear you when you call upon them?

ﲘOrﲙ(do) they benefit youﲚorﲛthey harm (you)ﲜ
Or can they benefit or harm you?”

ﲝThey saidﲞNayﲟbut we foundﲠour forefathersﲡlike that ﲢdoingﲣ
They replied, “No! But we found our forefathers doing the same.”

ﲤHe saidﲥDo you seeﲦwhatﲧyou have beenﲨworshippingﲩ
Abraham responded, “Have you ˹really˺ considered what you have been worshipping—

ﲪYouﲫand your forefathersﲬand your forefathersﲭ
you and your ancestors?
- Reflections
ﲮIndeed, theyﲯ(are) enemiesﲰto meﲱexceptﲲ(the) Lordﲳ(of) the worldsﲴ
They are ˹all˺ enemies to me, except the Lord of all worlds.

ﲵThe One Whoﲶcreated meﲷand Heﲸguides meﲹ
˹He is˺ the One Who created me, and He ˹alone˺ guides me.
- Reflections
ﲺAnd the One Whoﲻ[He]ﲼgives me foodﲽand gives me drinkﲾ
˹He is˺ the One Who provides me with food and drink.
- Reflections
ﲿAnd whenﳀI am illﳁthen Heﳂcures meﳃ
And He ˹alone˺ heals me when I am sick.

ﳄAnd the One Whoﳅwill cause me to dieﳆthenﳇhe will give me lifeﳈ
And He ˹is the One Who˺ will cause me to die, and then bring me back to life.

ﳉAnd the One Who ﳊI hopeﳋthatﳌHe will forgiveﳍfor meﳎmy faultsﳏ(on the) Dayﳐ(of) the Judgmentﳑ
And He is ˹the One˺ Who, I hope, will forgive my flaws on Judgment Day.”

ﳒMy LordﳓGrantﳔ[for] meﳕwisdomﳖand join meﳗwith the righteousﳘ
“My Lord! Grant me wisdom, and join me with the righteous.
