ﱁGoﱂtoﱃFiraunﱄIndeed, heﱅ(has) transgressedﱆ
˹commanding,˺ “Go to Pharaoh, for he has truly transgressed ˹all bounds˺.

ﱇAnd sayﱈWouldﱉ[for] youﱊ[to]ﱋ[that]ﱌpurify yourselfﱍ
And say, ‘Would you ˹be willing to˺ purify yourself,
- Reflections
ﱎAnd I will guide youﱏtoﱐyour Lordﱑso you would fearﱒ
and let me guide you to your Lord so that you will be in awe ˹of Him˺?’”

ﱓThen he showed himﱔthe signﱕthe greatﱖ
Then Moses showed him the great sign,
- Reflections
ﱗBut he deniedﱘand disobeyedﱙ
but he denied and disobeyed ˹Allah˺,
- Reflections
ﱚThenﱛhe turned his backﱜstrivingﱝ
then turned his back, striving ˹against the truth˺.
- Reflections
ﱞAnd he gatheredﱟand called outﱠ
Then he summoned ˹his people˺ and called out,
- Reflections
ﱡThen he saidﱢI amﱣyour Lordﱤthe Most Highﱥ
saying, “I am your lord, the most high!”

ﱦSo seized himﱧAllahﱨ(with) an exemplary punishmentﱩ(for) the lastﱪand the firstﱫ
So Allah overtook him, making him an example in this life and the next.

ﱬIndeedﱭinﱮthatﱯsurely (is) a lessonﱰfor whoeverﱱfearsﱲ
Surely in this is a lesson for whoever stands in awe of ˹Allah˺.

ﱳAre youﱴa more difficultﱵcreationﱶorﱷﱸthe heavenﱹHe constructed itﱺ
Which is harder to create: you or the sky? He built it,
- Reflections
ﱻHe raisedﱼits ceilingﱽand proportioned itﱾ
raising it high and forming it flawlessly.
- Reflections
ﱿAnd He darkenedﲀits nightﲁand brought outﲂits brightnessﲃ
He dimmed its night, and brought forth its daylight.
- Reflections
ﲄAnd the earthﲅafterﲆthatﲇHe spread itﲈ
As for the earth, He spread it out as well,
- Reflections
ﲉHe brought forthﲊfrom itﲋits waterﲌand its pastureﲍ
bringing forth its water and pastures
- Reflections
ﲎAnd the mountainsﲏHe made them firmﲐ
and setting the mountains firmly ˹upon it˺—
- Reflections
ﲑ(As) a provisionﲒfor youﲓand for your cattleﲔ
all as ˹a means of˺ sustenance for you and your animals.
- Reflections
ﲕBut whenﲖcomesﲗthe Overwhelming Calamityﲘthe greatﲙ
But, when the Supreme Disaster comes to pass—
- Reflections
ﲚ(The) Dayﲛwill rememberﲜmanﲝwhatﲞhe strove (for)ﲟ
the Day every person will remember all ˹their˺ striving,
- Reflections
ﲠAnd will be made manifestﲡthe Hellfireﲢto (him) whoﲣseesﲤ
and the Hellfire will be displayed for all to see—
- Reflections
ﲥThen as forﲦ(him) whoﲧtransgressedﲨ
then as for those who transgressed
- Reflections
ﲩAnd preferredﲪthe lifeﲫ(of) the worldﲬ
and preferred the ˹fleeting˺ life of this world,
- Reflections
ﲭThen indeedﲮthe Hellfireﲯitﲰ(is) the refugeﲱ
the Hellfire will certainly be ˹their˺ home.
- Reflections
ﲲBut as forﲳ(him) whoﲴfearedﲵstandingﲶ(before) his Lordﲷand restrainedﲸhis soulﲹfromﲺthe vain desiresﲻ
And as for those who were in awe of standing before their Lord and restrained themselves from ˹evil˺ desires,
- Reflections
ﲼThen indeedﲽParadise ﲾit (is)ﲿthe refugeﳀ
Paradise will certainly be ˹their˺ home.
- Reflections
ﳁThey ask youﳂaboutﳃthe Hourﳄwhenﳅ(is) its arrivalﳆ
They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the Hour, “When will it be?”
- Reflections
ﳇIn whatﳈ(are) youﳉ[of]ﳊ(to) mention itﳋ
But it is not for you to tell its time.
- Reflections
ﳌToﳍyour Lordﳎ(is) its finalityﳏ
That knowledge rests with your Lord ˹alone˺.
- Reflections
ﳐOnlyﳑyouﳒ(are) a warnerﳓ(for him) whoﳔfears itﳕ
Your duty is only to warn whoever is in awe of it.
- Reflections
ﳖAs though theyﳗ(the) Dayﳘthey see itﳙnotﳚthey had remainedﳛexceptﳜan eveningﳝorﳞa morning thereofﳟ
On the Day they see it, it will be as if they had stayed ˹in the world˺ no more than one evening or its morning.
