ﱁDid notﱂWe create youﱃfromﱄa waterﱅdespicableﱆ
Did We not create you from a humble fluid,
- Reflections
ﱇThen We placed itﱈinﱉan abodeﱊsafeﱋ
placing it in a secure place
- Reflections
ﱌForﱍa periodﱎknownﱏ
until an appointed time?
- Reflections
ﱐSo We measuredﱑand Bestﱒ(are We to) measureﱓ
We ˹perfectly˺ ordained ˹its development˺. How excellent are We in doing so!

ﱔWoeﱕthat Dayﱖto the deniersﱗ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!
- Reflections
ﱘHave notﱙWe madeﱚthe earthﱛa receptacleﱜ
Have We not made the earth a lodging
- Reflections
ﱝ(For the) livingﱞand (the) deadﱟ
for the living and the dead,
- Reflections
ﱠAnd We madeﱡthereinﱢfirmly set mountainsﱣloftyﱤand We gave you to drinkﱥwater ﱦsweetﱧ
and placed upon it towering, firm mountains, and given you fresh water to drink?

ﱨWoeﱩthat Dayﱪto the deniersﱫ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﱬProceedﱭtoﱮwhatﱯyou used toﱰin itﱱdenyﱲ
˹The disbelievers will be told,˺ “Proceed into that ˹Fire˺ which you used to deny!

ﱳProceedﱴtoﱵa shadowﱶhavingﱷthreeﱸcolumnsﱹ
Proceed into the shade ˹of smoke˺ which rises in three columns,
- Reflections
ﱺNoﱻcool shadeﱼand notﱽavailingﱾagainstﱿthe flameﲀ
providing neither coolness nor shelter from the flames.

ﲁIndeed, itﲂthrows upﲃsparksﲄas the fortressﲅ
Indeed, it hurls sparks ˹as big˺ as huge castles,
- Reflections
ﲆAs if they (were)ﲇcamelsﲈyellowﲉ
and ˹as dark˺ as black camels.”

ﲊWoeﲋthat Dayﲌto the deniersﲍ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﲎThisﲏ(is) a Dayﲐnotﲑthey will speakﲒ
On that Day they will not ˹be in a position to˺ speak,

ﲓAnd notﲔwill it be permittedﲕfor themﲖto make excusesﲗ
nor will they be permitted to offer excuses.

ﲘWoeﲙthat Dayﲚto the deniersﲛ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﲜThisﲝ(is the) Dayﲞﲟ(of) JudgmentﲠWe have gathered youﲡand the former (people)ﲢ
˹They will be told by Allah,˺ “This is the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision: We have gathered you along with earlier disbelievers ˹for punishment˺.

ﲣSo ifﲤisﲥfor youﲦa planﲧthen plan against Meﲨ
So if you have a scheme ˹to save yourselves˺, then use it against Me.”

ﲩWoeﲪthat Dayﲫto the deniersﲬ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﲭIndeedﲮthe righteousﲯ(will be) inﲰshadesﲱand springsﲲ
Indeed, the righteous will be amid ˹cool˺ shade and springs
- Reflections
ﲳAnd fruitsﲴfrom whatﲵthey desireﲶ
and any fruit they desire.

ﲷEatﲸand drinkﲹ(in) satisfactionﲺfor whatﲻyou used toﲼdoﲽ
˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink happily for what you used to do.”

ﲾIndeed, Weﲿthusﳀrewardﳁthe good-doersﳂ
Surely this is how We reward the good-doers.

ﳃWoeﳄthat Dayﳅto the deniersﳆ
˹But˺ woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﳇEatﳈand enjoy yourselvesﳉa littleﳊindeed, youﳋ(are) criminalsﳌ
“Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while, ˹for˺ you are truly wicked.”

ﳍWoeﳎthat Dayﳏto the deniersﳐ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﳑAnd whenﳒit is saidﳓto themﳔBowﳕnotﳖthey bowﳗ
When it is said to them, “Bow down ˹before Allah,” they do not bow.

ﳘWoeﳙthat Dayﳚto the deniersﳛ
Woe on that Day to the deniers!

ﳜThen in whatﳝstatementﳞafter itﳟwill they believeﳠ
So what message after this ˹Quran˺ would they believe in?
