ﱁﱂThey will be made to see each otherﱃWould wishﱄthe criminalﱅifﱆhe (could be) ransomedﱇfromﱈ(the) punishmentﱉ(of) that Dayﱊby his childrenﱋ
˹although˺ they will be made to see each other. The wicked will wish to ransom themselves from the punishment of that Day by their children,

ﱌAnd his spouseﱍand his brotherﱎ
their spouses, their siblings,
- Reflections
ﱏAnd his nearest kindredﱐwhoﱑsheltered himﱒ
their clan that sheltered them,
- Reflections
ﱓAnd whoeverﱔ(is) onﱕthe earthﱖallﱗthenﱘit (could) save himﱙ
and everyone on earth altogether, just to save themselves.
- Reflections
ﱚﱛBy no meansﱜIndeed, it (is)ﱝsurely a Flame of Hellﱞ
But no! There will certainly be a raging Flame
- Reflections
ﱟA removerﱠof the skin of the headﱡ
ripping off scalps.
- Reflections
ﱢInvitingﱣ(him) whoﱤturned his backﱥand went awayﱦ
It will summon whoever turned their backs ˹on Allah˺ and turned away ˹from the truth˺,
- Reflections
ﱧAnd collectedﱨand hoardedﱩ
and gathered and hoarded ˹wealth˺.
- Reflections
ﱪ ﱫIndeedﱬthe manﱭwas createdﱮanxious ﱯ
Indeed, humankind was created impatient:
- Reflections
ﱰWhenﱱtouches himﱲthe evilﱳdistressedﱴ
distressed when touched with evil,
- Reflections
ﱵAnd whenﱶtouches himﱷthe goodﱸwithholdingﱹ
and withholding when touched with good—
- Reflections
ﱺExceptﱻthose who pray ﱼ
except those who pray,
- Reflections
ﱽThose whoﱾ[they]ﱿatﲀtheir prayerﲁ(are) constantﲂ
consistently performing their prayers;
- Reflections
ﲃAnd those whoﲄinﲅtheir wealthﲆ(is) a rightﲇknownﲈ
and who give the rightful share of their wealth
- Reflections
ﲉFor the one who asksﲊand the deprivedﲋ
to the beggar and the poor;
- Reflections
ﲌAnd those whoﲍaccept (the) truthﲎ(of the) Dayﲏ(of) the Judgmentﲐ
and who ˹firmly˺ believe in the Day of Judgment;
- Reflections
ﲑAnd those whoﲒ[they]ﲓofﲔ(the) punishmentﲕ(of) their Lordﲖ(are) fearful ﲗ
and those who fear the punishment of their Lord—
- Reflections
ﲘIndeedﲙ(the) punishmentﲚ(of) your Lordﲛ(is) notﲜto be felt secure (of) ﲝ
˹knowing that˺ none should feel secure from their Lord’s punishment—
- Reflections
ﲞAnd those whoﲟ[they]ﲠtheir modestyﲡ(are) guardiansﲢ
and those who guard their chastity
- Reflections
ﲣExceptﲤfromﲥtheir spousesﲦorﲧwhatﲨthey possessﲩrightfullyﲪthen indeed, theyﲫ(are) notﲬblameworthyﲭ
except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, for then they are free from blame,
- Reflections
ﲮBut whoeverﲯseeksﲰbeyondﲱthatﲲthen thoseﲳ[they]ﲴ(are) the transgressors ﲵ
but whoever seeks beyond that are the transgressors.

ﲶAnd those whoﲷ[they]ﲸof their trustsﲹand their promiseﲺ(are) observersﲻ
˹The faithful are˺ also those who are true to their trusts and covenants;
- Reflections
ﲼAnd those whoﲽ[they]ﲾin their testimoniesﲿstand firmﳀ
and who are honest in their testimony;
- Reflections
ﳁAnd those whoﳂ[they]ﳃonﳄtheir prayerﳅkeep a guard ﳆ
and who are ˹properly˺ observant of their prayers.
- Reflections
ﳇThoseﳈ(will be) inﳉGardensﳊhonoredﳋ
These will be in Gardens, held in honour.

ﳌSo what is withﳍthose whoﳎdisbelieveﳏbefore youﳐ(they) hastenﳑ
So what is the matter with the disbelievers that they rush ˹head-long˺ towards you ˹O Prophet˺,
- Reflections
ﳒOnﳓthe rightﳔand onﳕthe leftﳖ(in) separate groupsﳗ
from the right and the left, in groups ˹to mock you˺?
- Reflections
ﳘDoes longﳙeveryﳚpersonﳛamong themﳜthatﳝhe entersﳞa Gardenﳟ(of) Delightﳠ
Does every one of them expect to be admitted into a Garden of Bliss?
- Reflections
ﳡﳢBy no meansﳣIndeed, Weﳤ[We] have created themﳥfrom whatﳦthey knowﳧ
But no! Indeed, they ˹already˺ know what We created them from.

ﳨBut nayﳩI swearﳪby (the) Lordﳫ(of) the risingsﳬand the settingsﳭthat Weﳮ(are) surely Ableﳯ
So, I do swear by the Lord of ˹all˺ the points of sunrise and sunset that We are truly capable
