ﱁAnd cameﱂFiraunﱃand (those)ﱄbefore himﱅand the overturned citiesﱆwith sinﱇ
Also, Pharaoh and those before him, and ˹the people of˺ the overturned cities ˹of Lot˺ indulged in sin,

ﱈAnd they disobeyedﱉ(the) Messengerﱊ(of) their Lordﱋso He seized themﱌ(with) a seizureﱍexceedingﱎ
each disobeying their Lord’s messenger, so He seized them with a crushing grip.

ﱏIndeed, Weﱐwhenﱑoverflowedﱒthe waterﱓWe carried youﱔinﱕthe sailing (ship)ﱖ
Indeed, when the floodwater had overflowed, We carried you in the floating Ark ˹with Noah˺,

ﱗThat We might make itﱘfor youﱙa reminderﱚand would be conscious of itﱛan earﱜconsciousﱝ
so that We may make this a reminder to you, and that attentive ears may grasp it.

ﱞThen whenﱟis blownﱠinﱡthe trumpet ﱢa blastﱣsingleﱤ
At last, when the Trumpet will be blown with one blast,

ﱥAnd are liftedﱦthe earthﱧand the mountainsﱨand crushedﱩ(with) a crushingﱪsingleﱫ
and the earth and mountains will be lifted up and crushed with one blow,
- Reflections
ﱬThen (on) that Dayﱭwill occurﱮthe Occurrenceﱯ
on that Day the Inevitable Event will have come to pass.

ﱰAnd will splitﱱthe heavenﱲso itﱳ(is on) that Dayﱴfrailﱵ
The sky will then be so torn that it will be frail,
- Reflections
ﱶAnd the Angelsﱷ(will be) onﱸﱹits edgesﱺand will bearﱻ(the) Throneﱼ(of) your Lordﱽabove themﱾthat Dayﱿeightﲀ
with the angels on its sides. On that Day eight ˹mighty angels˺ will bear the Throne of your Lord above them.

ﲁThat Dayﲂyou will be exhibitedﲃnotﲄwill be hiddenﲅamong youﲆany secretﲇ
You will then be presented ˹before Him for judgment˺, and none of your secrets will stay hidden.

ﲈThen as forﲉ(him) whoﲊis givenﲋhis recordﲌin his right handﲍwill sayﲎHereﲏreadﲐmy recordﲑ
As for those given their records in their right hand, they will cry ˹happily˺, “Here ˹everyone˺! Read my record!

ﲒIndeed, Iﲓwas certainﲔthat Iﲕ(will) meetﲖmy accountﲗ
I surely knew I would face my reckoning.”

ﲘSo heﲙ(will be) inﲚa lifeﲛpleasantﲜ
They will be in a life of bliss,

ﲝInﲞa Gardenﲟelevatedﲠ
in an elevated Garden,
- Reflections
ﲡIts clusters of fruitsﲢhanging nearﲣ
whose fruit will hang within reach.
- Reflections
ﲤEatﲥand drinkﲦ(in) satisfactionﲧfor whatﲨyou sent before youﲩinﲪthe daysﲫpastﲬ
˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink joyfully for what you did in the days gone by.”

ﲭBut as forﲮ(him) whoﲯis givenﲰhis recordﲱin his left handﲲwill sayﲳO! I wishﲴnotﲵI had been givenﲶmy recordﲷ
And as for those given their record in their left hand, they will cry ˹bitterly˺, “I wish I had not been given my record,

ﲸAnd notﲹI had knownﲺwhatﲻ(is) my accountﲼ
nor known anything of my reckoning!
- Reflections
ﲽO! I wish itﲾhad beenﲿthe endﳀ
I wish death was the end!
- Reflections
ﳁNotﳂhas availedﳃmeﳄﳅmy wealthﳆ
My wealth has not benefited me!
- Reflections
ﳇIs goneﳈfrom meﳉmy authorityﳊ
My authority has been stripped from me.”

ﳋSeize himﳌand shackle himﳍ
˹It will be said,˺ “Seize and shackle them,
- Reflections
ﳎThenﳏ(into) the Hellfireﳐburn himﳑ
then burn them in Hell,
- Reflections
ﳒThenﳓintoﳔa chainﳕits lengthﳖ(is) seventyﳗcubitsﳘinsert himﳙ
then tie them up with chains seventy arms long.

ﳚIndeed, heﳛwasﳜnotﳝbelievingﳞin Allahﳟthe Most Greatﳠ
For they never had faith in Allah, the Greatest,
- Reflections
ﳡAnd (did) notﳢfeel the urgeﳣonﳤ(the) feedingﳥ(of) the poorﳦ
nor encouraged the feeding of the poor.
- Reflections
ﳧSo notﳨfor himﳩtodayﳪhereﳫany devoted friendﳬ
So this Day they will have no close friend here,
