ﱁWill circulateﱂamong themﱃboysﱄimmortalﱅ
They will be waited on by eternal youths

ﱆWith vesselsﱇand jugsﱈand a cupﱉfromﱊa flowing streamﱋ
with cups, pitchers, and a drink ˹of pure wine˺ from a flowing stream,

ﱌNotﱍthey will get headacheﱎtherefromﱏand notﱐthey will get intoxicatedﱑ
that will cause them neither headache nor intoxication.

ﱒAnd fruitsﱓof whatﱔthey selectﱕ
˹They will also be served˺ any fruit they choose
- Reflections
ﱖAnd (the) fleshﱗ(of) fowlsﱘof whatﱙthey desireﱚ
and meat from any bird they desire.

ﱛAnd fair onesﱜ(with) large eyesﱝ
And ˹they will have˺ maidens with gorgeous eyes,

ﱞLikeﱟpearlsﱠwell-protectedﱡ
like pristine pearls,

ﱢA rewardﱣfor whatﱤthey used (to)ﱥdoﱦ
˹all˺ as a reward for what they used to do.

ﱧNotﱨthey will hearﱩthereinﱪvain talkﱫand notﱬsinful (speech)ﱭ
There they will never hear any idle or sinful talk—

ﱮExceptﱯa sayingﱰPeaceﱱPeaceﱲ
only good and virtuous speech.

ﱳAnd (the) companionsﱴ(of) the rightﱵwhatﱶ(are the) companionsﱷ(of) the rightﱸ
And the people of the right—how ˹blessed˺ will they be!

ﱹAmongﱺlote treesﱻthornlessﱼ
˹They will be˺ amid thornless lote trees,
- Reflections
ﱽAnd banana treesﱾlayeredﱿ
clusters of bananas,
- Reflections
ﲀAnd shadeﲁextendedﲂ
extended shade,
- Reflections
ﲃAnd waterﲄpoured forthﲅ
flowing water,
- Reflections
ﲆAnd fruitﲇabundantﲈ
abundant fruit—
- Reflections
ﲉNotﲊlimitedﲋand notﲌforbiddenﲍ
never out of season nor forbidden—
- Reflections
ﲎAnd (on) couchesﲏraisedﲐ
and elevated furnishings.
- Reflections
ﲑIndeed, Weﲒ[We] have produced themﲓ(into) a creationﲔ
Indeed, We will have perfectly created their mates,

ﲕAnd We have made themﲖvirginsﲗ
making them virgins,
- Reflections
ﲘDevotedﲙequals in ageﲚ
loving and of equal age,
- Reflections
ﲛFor (the) companionsﲜ(of) the rightﲝ
for the people of the right,
- Reflections
ﲞA companyﲟofﲠthe former peopleﲡ
˹who will be˺ a multitude from earlier generations
- Reflections
ﲢAnd a companyﲣofﲤthe later peopleﲥ
and a multitude from later generations.

ﲦAnd (the) companionsﲧ(of) the leftﲨwhatﲩ(are the) companionsﲪ(of) the leftﲫ
And the people of the left—how ˹miserable˺ will they be!

ﲬInﲭscorching fireﲮand scalding waterﲯ
˹They will be˺ in scorching heat and boiling water,
- Reflections
ﲰAnd a shadeﲱofﲲblack smokeﲳ
in the shade of black smoke,
- Reflections
ﲴNotﲵcoolﲶand notﲷpleasantﲸ
neither cool nor refreshing.

ﲹIndeed, theyﲺwereﲻbeforeﲼthatﲽindulging in affluenceﲾ
Indeed, before this ˹torment˺ they were spoiled by luxury,
- Reflections
ﲿAnd wereﳀpersistingﳁinﳂthe sinﳃthe greatﳄ
and persisted in the worst of sin.

ﳅAnd they used (to)ﳆsayﳇWhenﳈwe dieﳉand becomeﳊdustﳋand bonesﳌwill weﳍsurely be resurrectedﳎ
They used to ask ˹mockingly˺, “When we are dead and reduced to dust and bones, will we really be resurrected?

ﳏAnd also our fathersﳐformerﳑ
And our forefathers as well?”

ﳒSayﳓIndeedﳔthe formerﳕand the later peopleﳖ
Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Most certainly, earlier and later generations

ﳗSurely, will be gatheredﳘforﳙ(the) appointmentﳚ(of) a Dayﳛwell-knownﳜ
will surely be gathered ˹together˺ for the appointed Day.
