ﱁAnd thatﱂ(do) notﱃexalt yourselvesﱄagainstﱅﱆAllahﱇIndeed, Iﱈ[I] have come to youﱉwith an authorityﱊclearﱋ
And do not be arrogant with Allah. I have certainly come to you with a compelling proof.

ﱌAnd indeed, Iﱍ[I] seek refugeﱎwith my Lordﱏand your Lordﱐlestﱑyou stone meﱒ
And indeed, I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord so you do not stone me ˹to death˺.

ﱓAnd ifﱔnotﱕyou believeﱖmeﱗthen leave me aloneﱘ
˹But˺ if you do not believe me, then let me be.”

ﱙSo he calledﱚhis LordﱛThatﱜtheseﱝ(are) a peopleﱞcriminalsﱟ
Ultimately, he cried out to his Lord, “These are a wicked people!”

ﱠThen "Set outﱡwith My slavesﱢ(by) nightﱣIndeed, youﱤ(will be) followedﱥ
˹Allah responded,˺ “Leave with My servants at night, for you will surely be pursued.

ﱦAnd leaveﱧthe seaﱨﱩat restﱪIndeed, theyﱫ(are) an armyﱬ(to be) drownedﱭ
And leave the sea parted, for they are certainly an army bound to drown.”

ﱮHow manyﱯ(did) they leaveﱰofﱱgardensﱲand springsﱳ
˹Imagine˺ how many gardens and springs the tyrants left behind,

ﱴAnd cornfieldsﱵand placesﱶnobleﱷ
as well as ˹various˺ crops and splendid residences,
- Reflections
ﱸAnd pleasant thingsﱹthey used toﱺthereinﱻtake delightﱼ
and luxuries which they fully enjoyed.

ﱽﱾThusﱿAnd We made it (an) inherit(ance)ﲀ(for) a peopleﲁanotherﲂ
So it was. And We awarded it ˹all˺ to another people.

ﲃAnd notﲄweptﲅfor themﲆthe heavenﲇand the earthﲈand notﲉthey wereﲊgiven respiteﲋ
Neither heaven nor earth wept over them, nor was their fate delayed.

ﲌAnd certainlyﲍWe savedﲎ(the) Children of Israelﲏ(the) Children of Israelﲐfromﲑthe punishmentﲒthe humiliatingﲓ
And We certainly delivered the Children of Israel from the humiliating torment

ﲔFromﲕﲖFiraunﲗIndeed, heﲘwasﲙarrogantﲚamongﲛthe transgressorsﲜ
of Pharaoh. He was truly a tyrant, a transgressor.

ﲝAnd certainlyﲞWe chose themﲟbyﲠknowledgeﲡoverﲢthe worldsﲣ
And indeed, We chose the Israelites knowingly above the others.

ﲤAnd We gave themﲥofﲦthe Signsﲧthatﲨin itﲩ(was) a trialﲪclearﲫ
And We showed them signs in which there was a clear test.

ﲬIndeedﲭtheseﲮsurely, they sayﲯ
Indeed, these ˹Meccans˺ say,

ﲰNotﲱitﲲ(is) butﲳour deathﲴthe firstﲵand notﲶweﲷ(will be) raised againﲸ
“There is nothing beyond our first death, and we will never be resurrected.
- Reflections
ﲹThen bringﲺour forefathersﲻifﲼyou areﲽtruthfulﲾ
Bring ˹back˺ our forefathers, if what you say is true.”

ﲿAre theyﳀbetterﳁorﳂ(the) peopleﳃ(of) Tubbaﳄand thoseﳅbefore themﳆbefore themﳇﳈWe destroyed themﳉindeed, theyﳊwereﳋcriminalsﳌ
Are they superior to the people of Tubba’ and those before them? We destroyed them ˹all˺, ˹for˺ they were truly wicked.

ﳍAnd notﳎWe createdﳏthe heavensﳐand the earthﳑand whateverﳒ(is) between themﳓ(in) playﳔ
We did not create the heavens and the earth and everything in between for sport.

ﳕNotﳖWe created both of themﳗbutﳘin [the] truthﳙbutﳚmost of themﳛ(do) notﳜknowﳝ
We only created them for a purpose, but most of these ˹pagans˺ do not know.
