ﱁ ﱂAnd ifﱃWe had mercy on themﱄand We removedﱅwhatﱆ(was) on themﱇofﱈ(the) hardshipﱉsurely they would persistﱊinﱋtheir transgressionﱌwandering blindlyﱍ
˹Even˺ if We had mercy on them and removed their affliction, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.

ﱎAnd verilyﱏWe seized themﱐwith the punishmentﱑbut notﱒthey submitﱓto their Lordﱔand notﱕthey supplicate humblyﱖ
And We have already seized them with torment, but they never humbled themselves to their Lord, nor did they ˹submissively˺ appeal ˹to Him˺.

ﱗUntilﱘwhenﱙWe openedﱚfor themﱛa gateﱜof a punishmentﱝof a punishmentﱞsevereﱟbeholdﱠTheyﱡin itﱢ(will be in) despairﱣ
But as soon as We open for them a gate of severe punishment, they will be utterly desperate.

ﱤAnd Heﱥ(is) the One Whoﱦproducedﱧfor youﱨthe hearingﱩand the sightﱪﱫand the feelingﱬlittleﱭ(is) whatﱮyou give thanksﱯ
He is the One Who created for you hearing, sight, and intellect. ˹Yet˺ you hardly give any thanks.

ﱰAnd Heﱱ(is) the One Whoﱲmultiplied youﱳinﱴthe earthﱵand to Himﱶyou will be gatheredﱷ
And He is the One Who has dispersed you ˹all˺ over the earth, and to Him you will ˹all˺ be gathered.

ﱸAnd Heﱹ(is) the One Whoﱺgives lifeﱻand causes deathﱼand for Himﱽ(is the) alternationﱾ(of) the nightﱿﲀand the dayﲁThen will notﲂyou reasonﲃ
And He is the One Who gives life and causes death, and to Him belongs the alternation of the day and night. Will you not then understand?

ﲄNayﲅthey sayﲆ(the) likeﲇ(of) whatﲈsaidﲉthe former (people)ﲊ
But they ˹just˺ say what their predecessors said.

ﲋThey saidﲌWhat! Whenﲍwe are deadﲎand becomeﲏdustﲐand bonesﲑwould weﲒsurely be resurrectedﲓ
They said, “Once we are dead and reduced to dust and bones, will we really be resurrected?

ﲔVerilyﲕwe have been promisedﲖ[we]ﲗand our forefathersﲘthisﲙbeforeﲚbeforeﲛnotﲜ(is) thisﲝbutﲞ(the) talesﲟ(of) the former (people)ﲠ
We have already been promised this, as well as our forefathers earlier. This is nothing but ancient fables!”

ﲡSayﲢTo whom (belongs)ﲣthe earthﲤand whoeverﲥ(is) in itﲦifﲧyouﲨknowﲩ
Ask ˹them, O Prophet˺, “To whom belong the earth and all those on it, if you ˹really˺ know?”

ﲪThey will sayﲫﲬTo AllahﲭSayﲮThen will notﲯyou rememberﲰ
They will reply, “To Allah!” Say, “Why are you not then mindful?”

ﲱSayﲲWhoﲳ(is the) Lordﲴ(of) the seven heavensﲵ(of) the seven heavensﲶand (the) Lordﲷ(of) the Throneﲸthe Greatﲹ
˹And˺ ask ˹them˺, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the Mighty Throne?”

ﲺThey will sayﲻﲼAllahﲽSayﲾThen will notﲿyou fear (Him)ﳀ
They will reply, “Allah.” Say, “Will you not then fear ˹Him˺?”

ﳁSayﳂWho is (it)ﳃin Whose Hand(s)ﳄ(is the) dominionﳅ(of) allﳆthingsﳇand Heﳈprotectsﳉand no (one)ﳊ(can) be protectedﳋagainst HimﳌIfﳍyouﳎknowﳏ
Ask ˹them also,˺ “In Whose Hands is the authority over all things, protecting ˹all˺ while none can protect against Him, if you ˹really˺ know?”

ﳐThey will sayﳑﳒAllahﳓSayﳔThen howﳕare you deludedﳖ
They will reply, “Allah.” Say, “How are you then so deluded?”
