ﱐWhoeverﱑturns awayﱒfrom itﱓthen indeed, heﱔwill bearﱕ(on the) Dayﱖ(of) Resurrectionﱗa burdenﱘ
Whoever turns away from it will surely bear the burden ˹of sin˺ on the Day of Judgment,
- Reflections
ﱙAbiding foreverﱚﱛin itﱜand evilﱝfor themﱞ(on the) Dayﱟ(of) the Resurrectionﱠ(as) a loadﱡ
suffering its consequences forever. What an evil burden they will carry on Judgment Day!

ﱢ(The) Dayﱣwill be blownﱤinﱥﱦthe Trumpetﱧand We will gatherﱨthe criminalsﱩthat Dayﱪblue-eyedﱫ
˹Beware of˺ the Day the Trumpet will be blown, and We will gather the wicked on that Day blue-faced ˹from horror and thirst˺.
- Reflections
ﱬThey are murmuringﱭamong themselvesﱮNotﱯyou remainedﱰexcept (for)ﱱtenﱲ
They will whisper among themselves, “You stayed no more than ten days ˹on the earth˺.”
- Reflections
ﱳWeﱴknow bestﱵwhatﱶthey will sayﱷwhenﱸwill sayﱹ(the) best of themﱺ(in) conductﱻNotﱼyou remainedﱽexcept (for)ﱾa dayﱿ
We know best what they will say—the most reasonable of them will say, “You stayed no more than a day.”
- Reflections
ﲀAnd they ask youﲁaboutﲂthe mountainsﲃso sayﲄWill blast themﲅmy Lordﲆ(into) particlesﲇ
And ˹if˺ they ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about the mountains, ˹then˺ say, “My Lord will wipe them out completely,

ﲈThen He will leave itﲉa levelﲊplainﲋ
leaving the earth level and bare,
- Reflections
ﲌNotﲍyou will seeﲎin itﲏany crookednessﲐand notﲑany curveﲒ
with neither depressions nor elevations to be seen.”
- Reflections
ﲓOn that Dayﲔthey will followﲕthe callerﲖnoﲗdeviationﲘﲙfrom itﲚAnd (will be) humbledﲛthe voicesﲜfor the Most Graciousﲝso notﲞyou will hearﲟexceptﲠa faint soundﲡ
On that Day all will follow the caller ˹for assembly˺, ˹and˺ none will dare to deviate. All voices will be hushed before the Most Compassionate. Only whispers will be heard.
- Reflections
ﲢ(On) that Dayﲣnotﲤwill benefitﲥthe intercessionﲦexceptﲧ(to) whomﲨhas given permissionﲩ[to him]ﲪthe Most Graciousﲫand He has acceptedﲬfor himﲭa wordﲮ
On that Day no intercession will be of any benefit, except by those granted permission by the Most Compassionate and whose words are agreeable to Him.
- Reflections
ﲯHe knowsﲰwhatﲱ(is) before themﲲ(is) before themﲳand whatﲴ(is) behind themﲵwhile notﲶthey encompassﲷitﲸ(in) knowledgeﲹ
He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but they cannot encompass Him in ˹their˺ knowledge.
- Reflections
ﲺ ﲻAnd (will be) humbledﲼthe facesﲽbefore the Ever-Livingﲾﲿthe Self-SubsistingﳀAnd verilyﳁwill have failedﳂ(he) whoﳃcarriedﳄwrongdoingﳅ
And all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. And those burdened with wrongdoing will be in loss.
- Reflections
ﳆBut (he) whoﳇdoesﳈofﳉthe righteous deedsﳊwhile heﳋ(is) a believerﳌthen notﳍhe will fearﳎinjusticeﳏand notﳐdeprivationﳑ
But whoever does good and is a believer will have no fear of being wronged or denied ˹their reward˺.

ﳒAnd thusﳓWe have sent it downﳔ(the) Quranﳕ(in) Arabicﳖand We have explainedﳗin itﳘofﳙthe warningsﳚthat they mayﳛfearﳜorﳝit may causeﳞ[for] themﳟremembranceﳠ
And so We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran and varied the warnings in it, so perhaps they will shun evil or it may cause them to be mindful.
