ﱁAnd Iﱂ(have) chosen youﱃso listenﱄto whatﱅis revealedﱆ
I have chosen you, so listen to what is revealed:

ﱇIndeed, [I]ﱈI AmﱉAllahﱊ(There is) noﱋgodﱌbutﱍIﱎso worship Meﱏand establishﱐthe prayerﱑfor My remembranceﱒ
‘It is truly I. I am Allah! There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Me. So worship Me ˹alone˺, and establish prayer for My remembrance.

ﱓIndeedﱔthe Hourﱕ(will be) comingﱖI almostﱗ[I] hide itﱘthat may be recompensedﱙeveryﱚsoulﱛfor whatﱜit strivesﱝ
The Hour is sure to come. My Will is to keep it hidden, so that every soul may be rewarded according to their efforts.

ﱞSo (do) notﱟ(let) avert youﱠfrom itﱡ(one) whoﱢ(does) notﱣbelieveﱤin itﱥand followsﱦhis desiresﱧlest you perishﱨ
So do not let those who disbelieve in it and follow their desires distract you from it, or you will be doomed.’”

ﱩAnd whatﱪ(is) thatﱫin your right handﱬO Musaﱭ
˹Allah added,˺ “And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?”

ﱮHe saidﱯItﱰ(is) my staffﱱI leanﱲupon itﱳand I bring down leavesﱴwith itﱵforﱶmy sheepﱷand for meﱸin itﱹ(are) usesﱺotherﱻ
He replied, “It is my staff! I lean on it, and with it I beat down ˹branches˺ for my sheep, and have other uses for it.”

ﱼHe saidﱽThrow it downﱾO Musaﱿ
Allah said, “Throw it down, O Moses!”

ﲀSo he threw it downﲁand beholdﲂItﲃ(was) a snakeﲄmoving swiftlyﲅ
So he did, then—behold!—it became a serpent, slithering.

ﲆHe saidﲇSeize itﲈand (do) notﲉﲊfearﲋWe will return itﲌ(to) its stateﲍthe formerﲎ
Allah said, “Take it, and have no fear. We will return it to its former state.

ﲏAnd draw nearﲐyour handﲑtoﲒyour sideﲓit will come outﲔwhiteﲕwithout anyﲖwithout anyﲗdiseaseﲘ(as) a signﲙanotherﲚ
And put your hand under your armpit, it will come out ˹shining˺ white, unblemished, as another sign,

ﲛThat We may show youﲜofﲝOur Signsﲞthe Greatestﲟ
so that We may show you some of Our greatest signs.

ﲠGoﲡtoﲢFiraunﲣIndeed, heﲤ(has) transgressedﲥ
Go to Pharaoh, for he has truly transgressed ˹all bounds˺.”

ﲦHe saidﲧMy LordﲨExpandﲩfor meﲪmy breastﲫ
Moses prayed, “My Lord! Uplift my heart for me,
- Reflections
ﲬAnd easeﲭfor meﲮmy taskﲯ
and make my task easy,
- Reflections
ﲰAnd untieﲱ(the) knotﲲfromﲳmy tongueﲴ
and remove the impediment from my tongue
- Reflections
ﲵThat they may understandﲶmy speechﲷ
so people may understand my speech,
- Reflections
ﲸAnd appointﲹfor meﲺa ministerﲻfromﲼmy familyﲽ
and grant me a helper from my family,
- Reflections
ﲾHarunﲿmy brotherﳀ
Aaron, my brother.
- Reflections
ﳁReinforceﳂthrough himﳃmy strengthﳄ
Strengthen me through him,
- Reflections
ﳅAnd make him shareﳆ[in]ﳇmy taskﳈ
and let him share my task,
- Reflections
ﳉThatﳊwe may glorify Youﳋmuchﳌ
so that we may glorify You much
- Reflections
ﳍAnd [we] remember Youﳎmuchﳏ
and remember You much,
- Reflections
ﳐIndeed, [You]ﳑYou areﳒof usﳓAll-Seerﳔ
for truly You have ˹always˺ been overseeing us.”

ﳕHe saidﳖVerilyﳗyou are grantedﳘyour requestﳙO Musaﳚ
Allah responded, “All that you requested has been granted, O Moses!
- Reflections
ﳛAnd indeedﳜWe conferred a favorﳝon youﳞanother timeﳟanother timeﳠ
And surely We had shown you favour before,
